Chapel Hour
Education Based on the Bible
(Chapel Hour)
What is Education Based on the Bible and Chapel Hour?
During daily chapel time, children develop moral and ethical values through stories from the Bible, the world's best-selling book.
Through Chapel Hour...
From a young age, children are introduced to the essential teachings of the Bible: the three loves—"love yourself, love your neighbor, and love God"—and we strive to help them grow with these values.
As children develop a love for themselves, they learn to accept themselves as they are and live with confidence. By loving and serving others, they begin to feel a sense of responsibility and purpose as members of society.
Loving God helps children discern between good and evil, enabling them to naturally love themselves and others. This is the core of the education in the threefold love.
Through daily chapel hour and school life, children learn to live by the threefold love.
In chapel hour, we:
-
Sing praise songs, pray, and listen to Bible stories
-
During chapel hour, we strive to nurture children to develop a sense of right and wrong, and a worldview and perspective on life based on the Bible, while praying for their growth.
※At our school, we emphasize Bible-based ethical and moral education rooted in Christianity.
However, we do not engage in any form of religious proselytization.
