What is Olive Infant School?
The period from birth to two years old is the starting point of a long life, a time that forms the foundation for the decades that follow. This period, which is not easily remembered, is the most absorbent time in life, and it can be said to be a special time when children can easily accomplish various things that they may not be able to achieve even after decades. At Olive Infant School, specialized Montessori teachers with Montessori qualifications in English (ages 0-3) *1 teach the children in English during this sensitive period for language, drawing out the potential of each child through various activities.

Olive's Infant (Age 0-2) Education
Bilingual Education
Babies are born with the ability to hear the sounds of all languages. When children are exposed to English from this age, the same parts of their brain are stimulated as when they use their native language, so they can use it not as a second language, but as another "native language." Children who receive bilingual education from the age of zero are said to not only speak languages fluently, but also have an understanding of and interest in various cultures, as well as superior problem-solving skills and creativity. At Olive Infant School, we teach simple English phrases that parents and children can use at home, and we cherish the time we spend talking to children in English and introducing them to various activities.
Montessori Education
In Montessori education, sensitive periods are said to be most pronounced between the ages of 0 and 6, but the most intense period for personality formation and the development of the foundation of intelligence is said to be between the ages of 0 and 3. Olive Infant School offers classes tailored to each age group (months), such as the "Poppy Class for 3-12 month olds" and the "Daisy Class for 12-24 month olds," where children and their parents can enjoy Montessori activities and work together.
The first year of life is a crucial period for laying the foundation for learning.
Babies have a "sensitive period" that lasts only a few years after birth. The experiences they have during this time form the foundation for their concentration, independence, and willingness to learn.
The power of language develops even before birth.
Babies are born with the innate ability to distinguish the sounds of all languages. The idea that "only the mother tongue should be taught first" is not necessarily correct.

Because parents and children attend together, specialized teachers will directly instruct Montessori activities that can be done at home, as well as English phrases that mothers can use with their babies. We can guide simple Japanese phrases for English-speaking moms as well.
